Mountaineer
Food Bank

Who We Are
Mountaineer Food Bank, a member of Feeding America, believes in a West Virginia where no one goes to bed hungry…today or tomorrow.
The Food Bank is the largest emergency food provider in the state of West Virginia serving families, children, seniors, veterans, and individuals at risk of hunger. Annually, MFB distributes over 19 million meals to food-insecure neighbors in 48 of the 55 counties.
We are led by our mission to feed West Virginia’s hungry and empower communities to end hunger.
Setting the Table for the Future
We believe food is a critical ingredient for people and communities to thrive. When everyone has access to the nutrition they need, a healthy and bright future is possible.
But feeding every West Virginian facing food insecurity will take a bigger table. And there’s no time to lose. That’s why we’re launching a capital campaign to expand our table and reach more people in need.
