Hunger Summit

About

Mountaineer Food Bank hosted their first annual Hunger Summit in 2016. This event was created to bring awareness to the issue of hunger in West Virginia, and to showcase the programs MFB offers.  This is a two day event held in August at the Days Hotel and Conference Center in Flatwoods, WV, and is open to MFB's network of agencies, any non-profits, businesses, groups, or individuals interested in hunger relief. This conference features workshops, sessions, guest speakers, vendors, a cook-off, and much more. 

This year’s summit will place focus on “Igniting Change”. Like last year, we have decided to keep our invite list open to include community organizations and businesses as well individuals interested in being an ambassador for hunger awareness across the state.

 

Join us on Wednesday 8/6/2019 @ 6:30PM for a networking dinner.

Dinner will be held at Cafe Cimino and Country Inn for an additional cost of $30.00.

 

Conference Cost is $60.00/person...EARLY BIRD $50.00.

Cost Includes: Lunch day 1, Dinner Day 1 and Lunch Day 2. As well as sessions and activities.
